Garrison resident Dylan Quinn, 25, pleaded guilty to risk of injury to a child last week and has been sentenced to a suspended seven-year term, followed by five years of probation. Quinn must also undergo sex offender treatment and cannot have unsupervised contacts with minors.
Last year, Quinn turned himself into Stratford Police custody after the department’s Youth Bureau determined that he had contacted the teen through a social networking site, asking for illicit photos of the boy, police said. Quinn then sent photos to the teen of his genitals, persuading the teen to send him a partially dressed photo.
Police said that after communicating online, Quinn arranged to meet the teenager at his house to perform sexual acts, but the boy’s father saw the message, intervened and contacted the police.
